THE QUEST FOR A SQUIRREL PROOF BIRD FEEDER
Squirrel proof and bird feeder are two phrases that many feel should not be put together…….because they think that a truly 100% squirrel proof bird feeder has never been built. Maybe squirrel resistant, but not a “squirrel proof bird feeder”. But, the “quest” to find the one feeder that is 100% squirrel proof goes on.
Thousands of dollars and man hours have been invested in keeping these “4 legged robber barons” from eating expensive bird feed and yet the perfect squirrel proof bird feeder has seemed to elude our grasp…….until now.

My family and friends are convinced that I am obsessed. Obsessed with building the best squirrel proof bird feeder and proving I am more intelligent, crafty, cunning, creative and persistent than the squirrels I know and have fed at bird feeders in my yard. I am comfortable with my dominating position with the SquirrelAway Bird Cafe.
I thought of calling this feeder the SquirrelAway Bird Cabaret or SquirrelAway Home Entertainment Center or just the Discriminator, as I have found that it does discriminate against squirrels, chipmunks, grackles and other undesirables, while feeding cardinals and smaller birds. I have found that squirrels can be rehabilitated and trained to just clean up spillage on the ground.
No guarantees are offered, because I have not tested this feeder on your squirrels. Plus, SquirrelAway has no money left to cover a guarantee.
